The origin and mechanism of action of modern antiviral agents. What are the advantages and disadvantages of their use?
Antiviral activity of the culture liquid of some microorganisms - what is it due to?
Extracellular sialospecific lectin of a saprophytic strain of bacillus is a substance of microbial origin with pronounced antiviral activity against influenza viruses, herpes 1 and 2 types, hepatitis C and HIV, which has no analogues in the world.
What is the uniqueness of the lectin mechanism of action and the competitive advantages of its use as an antiviral drug?
Can the use of lectin be effective for the treatment and prevention of the disease that causes COVID-19? Prospects for industrial production of extracellular sialospecific lectin substance - what are the difficulties and can they be overcome?

The sphere of scientific interests of the speaker: the study of the growth of microorganisms, optimization of the qualitative and quantitative composition of nutrient media, parameters and modes of cultivation: pH, eH, temperature, as well as specific levels of dissolution (mass exchange) of oxygen and its consumption by the culture in laboratory fermenters as a criterion for scaling the process of aerobic fermentation. Optimization of individual stages of the technology of obtaining biological preparations and their storage conditions. Development and verification of the effectiveness of the application of reagent-free methods of limiting foaming and controlling emissions of foamed culture liquid in fermentation processes in laboratory conditions. Technology of extracellular bacillary sialospecific lectin, microbial enzymes, metabolites.
